| | my fridge humming abnormally loudly | ] | So yeah, around quarter to 7 last night, my guts lit up in a firestorm of pain to the point where nothing I was doing was alleviating it. I figured, "I could not phone 911...and then I could be one of those dudes who dies painfully of a burst appendix alone in his apartment." So I called 911, was rushed to hospital, and they ask all the usual questions. Here's a key one to their conclusion. They asked me if I was having any unusual bowel movements or difficulty shitting. I said no, because they've been regular in both intervals and size, and no blood or black shit or anything. In fact, less than 20 minutes before the gut pain started, I had taken a MASSIVE shit. The shit looked healthy, but there was a lot of it.
This is the reverse of their conclusion, which they achieved after an X-ray, so the paradox is that I know they're right. The doctor said, basically, that I had major blockage and was constipated...but I had just taken a massive shit. I mentioned this to him, and that I was under the impression a blockage takes longer than that to form, and that me not shitting would be the cause of this kind of intense pain, and it'd have to have been for far longer. He shrugged and told me to get an enema. And he was a humourless fuck, so I know he was serious.
Which is awesome.
But anyway, I took a normal shit after going home too, sooo...some kind of crazy insta-blockage formed in less than 20 minutes, and then vanished. Now, I did eat a quarter pounder right after shitting. So, from now on a) no more McDonald's, no matter how broke I am and b) no more eating immediately after taking a dump. And (just to be on the safe side) c) more bran/ruffage. Which will mean my regular, normal-to-large shits will be super-frequent and even bigger.
Also d) when I have the money, buying an enema, because hey, doctor's orders right?
Hahaha, oh, almost forgot. I walked home from the Royal Jubilee to downtown, and caught the last 31 bus to my place. |

It was polite, there were tears, we talked about the reasons why (well, she talked and I struggled not to collapse), then she left and I updated my Facebook status and cried myself to sleep. Hahahahaha, SUPER lame. Then I started searching for meaning to live. Then I stopped searching and started drinking.

[Jun. 2nd, 2009|10:37 am] |
Do I believe it exists? Yes. Do I believe in it, like one believes in the inherent good or bad of humanity or what happens when you die? No.
I believe that you love who you love, and that tends to be one person for societal or biological reasons, neither of which are a manifestation of our individual wills, but instead something imposing itself on us that we tend to welcome instead of question.
That said, my ideal romantic/sexual relationship is not having one, so I'm pretty much in the best polyamorous relationship with the entire world right now. |

| Writer's Block: Call Me |
[May. 25th, 2009|07:28 am] |
Never had, nor will I have, a cell phone. So, landline. The only time I'd ever want to talk to someone is at home. When I'm not at home, I'm at work, or out with friends (or out by myself because I want to be by myself). If I'm out with other friends, I'd have my cell phone turned off, because friends texting and answering calls while I'm out with them is pretty annoying and sort of defeats the purpose of hanging out. When I'm at work, I'd have my cell phone turned off. And, obviously, if I'm having a peaceful walk by myself, I don't want a call coming in. So...I'd only answer a cell phone at home. And landlines are cheaper, and have better long distance plans for calling Jake the States from Canada.

[May. 22nd, 2009|04:59 pm] |
Probably had apologies rejected before, but I don't think I've ever done that.
I don't know. I don't remember too many super dangerous situations. As a baby I was almost run over by a car because I waddled into the street, and my mom spanked me through my diaper, and then apologized to me and never raised a hand to me again...but I don't remember any of that, although I think that's sweet of my mom. That's probably the most dangerous near-accident. There were other, intentional dangerous situations that were worse than that, but that's probably the worst accidental situation.
Shit, work's over. Gotta run! |

[May. 22nd, 2009|04:56 pm] |
Uh...weirdest? I don't know. I don't think anything I've eaten has been particularily weird. Some shit is mostly artificial, which is weird, I guess. So...some candy, probably? Something really artificial and chemically? Ok, boring answer, so let's do another one.
Depends on the situation. Obviously, if I'm on an island, stranded, and a plane flies by, I'm seeking attention. If I'm in a dark alley, walking past two drunks knife-fighting, I'm not. No one is just one or the other. Given a neutral, public situation? Probably more often than not, I'm not seeking attention.
Yessir. Met tons of these fuckers on Facebook.
Out of both? Firefly, motherfuckers. Just TV, obviously Firefly. Movies is harder. Serenity was great, but it's not as good as any of the Star Wars movies, Blade Runner, etc. It's hard to say. I'd have to put more thought into this than me last five minutes of work are going to allow. |

Anything I've sworn never to do, that I can remember, I still don't do.
Dude was a mad fresh hairstylist Whose jibes were always so childish Then his sis wrapped up in tape By their dad did get raped And now he's a suicidal nihilist
Not for a long time. I used to have one in particular that had a waterfall and me playing with Transformers action figures, and I'd dream it a lot. Mostly good dreams were recurring dreams for me.
Oh man, I know a lot of songs by heart. Too many. Most of my favourite songs, obviously, and also songs I hate that got stuck in my head one too many times, and childhood songs and whatever else. I memorize song lyrics pretty well, I think. Well, randomly. Sometimes a song I really like I forget half the lyrics when I think about it or go to sing it. It seems like I'm really good at remembering certain songs, and I don't control which songs those are. |

My favourite is probably the one about the giant desert spider that turned out to be giant, yes, but not as giant as the urban legend said it was. Before I found out it was false, I was really pumped to see that spider in the wild some day. I was fooled by that one in particular, and I'm sure most people are fooled by one or another and grow out of them as they get older (and grow into new ones, no doubt).
Let's make this a multipost too.
HAHAHAHA. Define cooking. I make Campbell's soup and Mr. Noodles all the time. Cooking from scratch? That's never happened.

No. Because there's no evidence for it. Hahaha, this is a short one. I should just plop another one in here.
I guess it has to be accidental, not me flashing or mooning someone. Uhhh...I guess any given time the crotch has ripped in any given pair of pants. It's happened maybe...three or four times in my life? Each time has been funny, and barely memorable. Fuck this, let's go for number 3.
Didn't I just do this question, and make a poll about it? It wasn't that long ago. I think I decided on a 1958 onwards musical journey. If we take era to mean like...a gigantic stretch of time, I'd have to say the Before Common Era was more interesting than the Common Era, since it includes the entirety of time previous to just over 2000 years ago. So does this make me immortal in the context of the question, or just super long lived? |

I hate the term "global warming" because climate change more accurately reflects the fact that some places are unnaturally fluctuating in temperature, and others are becoming unnaturally colder. It's not just unnatural warmth.
But yeah, that one. Unless we smarten up, and then it'll be nuclear weapons or some similar war-based shenanigans. Or, maybe, we'll start off-world colonies and start to spread out a bit, and then we have a potential life, as a race, stretching out to the vast infinites, instead of tied to this planet and the fucknuts on it. |

I'm posting this because I posted, a few days back, the final part of my hilarious trilogy. And so far? It is shaping up to be the best one yet. You'll have to wait though. I only put up my responses upon conclusion of the craigslist ad itself. But I guarantee that shit is gonna be juicy.

That said, probably women in actual fact, because I don't have to go through crampin' and bleedin' to that degree. Ever. Unless I get like...kicked in the stomach repeatedly until it punctures an organ. And, of course, socially women are still making less than men in the vast majority of jobs and are considered less often by party elites as candidates in viable, electable parties (though that is slowly changing).
